Psychosynthesis
Psychosynthesis
offers an holistic approach, incorporating feelings, body, mind and
spirit. It emphasises human potential.
Each form
of counselling and psychotherapy starts from a particular view of the
human psyche. The viewpoint of psychosynthesis recognises not only the
level of the problems we are experiencing (anxiety, depression etc),
but another level of creativity, meaning and purpose - a 'spiritual'
dimension to life. While counselling is often referred to as a 'talking
cure', a psychosynthesis psychotherapist might also use drawing, guided
visualisation, or movement, which can help to utilise our creative inner
wisdom.
Psychosynthesis
can help people connect to the genuinely positive and healthy parts
of themselves, as well as healing and nurturing those aspects which
are painful or making life difficult.
